This fragrance is inspired by the enchanting night sky of Tekapo, where the Milky Way stretches endlessly, reminding us to cherish the purity of darkness.
It represents the theme of light pollution:
Light pollution → insects become disoriented and decline in numbers → reduced pollination of flowers and crops + broken food chains → ecosystems fall out of balance.
From insects to plants to small creatures, everything is interconnected.
Lights Out is the world’s first perfume dedicated to raising awareness of light pollution and calling for the protection of dark skies. Born in New Zealand, it is a tribute to safeguarding both local and global ecosystems.

Scent
The fragrance opens with soft floral notes, transitions into a clean and airy soapiness—like breathing under starlight—and settles into a warm, grounding wood base.
