Memory of Trees takes its inspiration from the iconic lone tree of Wanaka, a fragile yet enduring symbol rising from the lake. This solitary tree stands as a reminder of resilience, but also a warning: if forests vanish, life on earth will face irreversible loss.

Conservation organizations estimate that each person consumes the resources of more than 40 trees in their lifetime, and each year, the world loses forests equal to half the landmass of New Zealand.
